In science class this week we experimented with four simple ingredients: vinegar, baking soda, a red balloon and a plastic bottle.
We filled our bottle with about 1/4 of vinegar and then filled half of our red balloon with baking soda.
We fastened the balloon to the nozzle of the bottle and tipped the balloon up to see what exciting scientific reaction occurred.
We were amazed at how quickly the chemical reaction caused the balloon to fill and the liquid in the bottle to turn very cold!
Science is always surprising us in many ways and allows us to explore the excitement and wonder of things that are all around us!

I love your science experiments and so does Archie. Thanks
