In Kindergarten A we prepared to perform at the Earth Day Assembly at the ELC of River Valley School!
We all recognize the importance of Earth Day, which fell on April 22, and we were excited to share why it is so important to us!
Some of the things the kids said are:
I love the Earth because if forest fires happen, more trees grow.
I love the Earth because it helps me breathe.
I will help the Earth by planting plants.
I will help the Earth by cycling instead of driving my car.
I love the Earth because it lets us use trees for paper.
I will help the Earth by recycling my bottles.
For the assembly, we prepared beautiful Earth art projects to share, as well as a poem that helped to remind everyone about the importance of recycling and avoiding putting more unnecessary trash into the already filled landfills.
We also watched videos that showcase how beautiful our planet is!
We were thrilled to share this with our parents and our school community!
Happy Earth Day Everyone!
